Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. She was able to survive by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. Lennox wasn't happy with the quality of her abilities compared to the other students at Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. The group broke up before they appeared as a guest on I.T.V's talent show New Faces. She was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox started work on Diva in 1992. This was her first solo album. The album was hugely successful both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues and soul from early childhood. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera an album of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to her art work made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is a social activist, philanthropist, and singer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They would go on, in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox launched a solo career by releasing their debut record Diva with a variety of successful tracks, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 has cover versions of songs such asNo MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and her compilation album contain a variety of tracks.
